Dicha .....my watch came from Lxdx ( you can fill in the x's I'm sure?) and cost about 40€. I don't use the cardio but I know it records it anyway because I have the watch linked to an app( it told me how in the directions) and although I only look at steps and sleep( or not sleeping actually. I never reach required levels) I can see all the heart information is recorded there too.
Hello Fruit Loops,
Well I am trying to keep my head above water - just can't get onto anything, tired all the time and I did what everyone told me to do and had blood tests to reveal that I am diabetic either that or diabolical - maybe even both .... so for past however long I've been on 4x500mg metformin (2 morning and 2 night) due another blood test shortly.
I'm still tired all the time, brain fog is horrendous as is short term memory - I am trying to make myself book up to see the Doctor and ask, well, I don't know what I'd be asking.
Anyway, that sort of my update.
Dearest moomy we are all supporting you and if you need a shoulder, an ear, or an arm - I have two of each that you are welcome to share ..... as is any of you lovely fruit loops xxx
Snowys Mom ... the cat houses/shelters look great - hey, you never know they make seek shelter in there from the hot sun .... oww whoops okay haha.
Sweet Ted is as lovely as ever - hope you are well xxx
Flossie25 .... Thank You for remembering me - very kind of you, thinking of you and sending love and hugs to you.
Violetsniff .... How are you - I feel like you have posted, hope I've not missed it and if you aren't posting at the moment - I do hope you are okay xxx
Lacomtekp .... I am glad to hear your mum's collar bone seems to be healing well. Your sister seems to be very much like mine.... in fact yours might be a little better that she actually had your mum go to stay with them. Mine has been away 3 times so far this year, Cape Verde, a Caribbean cruise and just back from a couple of weeks in Florida - staying in a massive villa (not sure what they are called, this was a 7 bedroom - with 5 going) and not once was mum even asked if she would like to go! (Mum use to love holidaying with an extra passion for Florida).
On top of this mum has never stayed at their house (and they do have room) - whilst they were away on holiday it was mum's birthday and nearly 2 weeks on still has not visited. I really wish mum had friends or better a good neighbour that she could go out with (helping each other with friendship) and sort of stick her fingers up to us (not so much me) - it really hurts me that none of them bother, goodness knows truthfully how mum feels .... I know she feels so lonely but the rest well I just don't know, its all so sad.
Sorrrrrrrry, I'm waffling, so with this I will go. Quick hot drink and off to bed xxxx
Sending love and hugs - Night Fruit Loops and remember.....

Dear WhatHappened I can fully understand how you are feeling. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes 4 months before the Cancer diagnosis. I initially controlled it with diet but I was then put on metformin. The exhaustion does ease a bit as the tablets begin to help but I can't say the brain fog which I had put down just to the letrozole, has eased at all. I keep thinking dementia has set in as I get so frustrated not being able to remember words for things or names of people.
Your energy levels will start to come back but if you, like me, are also on letrozole, then you will still feel fatigued, just not so immeasurably drained x
Dear WhatHappened , bless you for thinking of me. Op date confirmed as 7th May and I found out in second in her list (first is a diabetic so priority).
hopefully a goodly number of your wake/sleep problems will ease once your blood glucose levels are more normal, and I guess you’ll feel less exhausted as getting to the loo so often especially at night, is a drain on energy levels at the best of times. Hubs was a lot better once diagnosed and on treatment.
I had a really good night last night and am feeling much more positive now that the op is confirmed, have to be there at 7.15 am!!! No food after 2.30am (who would want to anyway?!) and a glass of water to be drunk between 6 and 6.30am.
Thinking of you Mag123 , when is your last day, and the start day for the new job? Bet you’re counting the hours now! You will surely be much better off at the new place!
Grogg I came back to edit, interesting your daughter thought you’ve got ADHD, son was talking about his problems last evening and I think he too has a degree of it as he gets anxious planning and likes everything organised and in place it’s been hard helping him through the problems of being responsible for me (he’s taking me and fetching me on surgery date and looking after me till daughter takes over late that evening for 24 hours, then taking over again) . He’s a touch obsessive about ironing too! But a fabulous teacher and musician.
Thinking of all Fruit Loops
hugs xxx
Moomy
