Snowys Mum …I hope your peonies survive…Perhaps my favourite flower….beautiful please send a photo xx
Hi moomy a BP of 126/70 is fine and normal.
Violetsniff I will as soon as they are out, in fact I will be a Peony bore.
Mag123 starting in July will mean a lovely long break, enjoy it and unwind, you deserve it.
My news is that I had a very civilised shift yesterday evening, and today boyfriend is due at my house. We are doing "cat house roofs" the stray cats have shelters in the garden and we are reroofing with offcuts of lino. I will do photos.
Later probably going to Pendle, not climbing just looking and eating at the cafe xxx
Hi Snowys Mum , yes that B/P is fine but it was something in the region of 180/100 when they did it!!!! I have made a phone appointment with GP at the end of May (I know!) to discuss it, I think by what I’ve researched it’s classed as ‘labile’
all other tests were fine including ECG. Nasal swab done but I won’t hear if that’s ok, 2 bloods done, ‘group and save’ and a bone one. They referred to the bloods I’ve had done recently at the practice.
I got booted off the NHS app, have had to go into it and delete it and have now successfully reinstalled it. Tried to get into the practice web site but it tells me I’ve put in invalid info! Cuss it, but I can use the NHS or Airmid apps with no problem now.
Oh technology! Don’t we love it?!
Hugs xxx
Moomy
Sadly Snowys Mum I have to work my three months notice period!!
Good morning to everyone.
Mag123 I thought after I posted, maybe she has to work notice. But by staying to the end of your notice shows the quality of your character, you're the good person. A girl I knew left a nursing home on bad terms and on her last day she wiped her bottom on the manager's raincoat. (Which is very wrong)
moomy when I started nursing in 1981 we were taught sistolic BP should be 100+ patients age and diastolic hopefully under 100. Just shows how ideas change. You're under stress at moment so no wonder it's up and down.
We did the cat houses yesterday, they don't look too pretty but it's a big garden. The flap over the grill is to put down when it's raining. This is just the back garden. The front garden cat has 3 boxes.

Mag123 good luck on your new job… a new venture. Pity you have to work notice.
you’ve been busy Snowys Mum peonies have been mentioned.. have some in garden which were there before we moved in. I don’t do anything with them and they have flowered every year, so far. Can’t do any gardening as bins full, the weather is rubbish and I’m getting eye treatment today .. 3 excuses should do the trick!!
seaspirit44 how are things with you? I think I saw somewhere you’ve been singing again.
Violetsniff how are you?

Hello Flossie25
Thank you for asking. The results for the 24hours heart monitor highlighted that my heartbeat became very raised several times during the recorded period. They have increased the beta blockers I have to take. I asked the cardiologist if this heightened heart rate was my arrythmia, and she told me it was. Incredibly, I have absolutely no symptoms at all!
Good luck with the eye treatment!
