Oh my, I’m so very pleased you two have met, Mag123 and Tired Minion! You must have talked lots as well as walked! So great to meet up!
lovely ladies, I will share something I learnt in a counselling session long ago; this is especially for those who have problems accepting their new body shape. You need to look in a mirror regularly especially for this exercise, to learn to accept, like and love the person you see there. She is you, she is worthy, she has scars - yes, but they are the remains of something that went wrong and has now been put right. She is a lovely and beautiful person inside and you should celebrate her! This is at the moment aimed at Violetsniff and Anna12345 But also all of you lovely Fruit Loops who experience wobbles (which, let’s face it, we all do sometimes!)
Big hugs my lovely virtual friends xxx

It was a lovely meet and nice to meet Mag123 Hopefully if i get connected to seaspirit44, she can come on a future walk as we do intend to meet up again. I posted some pics on the Walking back to happiness thread. Feel a little pooped now as I did an extra walk after we parted. Trying to wear myself out as my sleep has been rubbish this week and am exhausted. Have spoken to GP and got some new drugs to dry so see how that goes.
As moomy says hugs to all. Had a wobble week but hoping life gets better xx
Tired Minion, it was really lovely meeting you for a walk today. It was cold (I forgot my coat - long story), but the hot coffee and the lovely company kept me warm. Seaspirit44 I hope you are able to join us next time along with anyone else here who li es Cheshire/Manchester way xx

moomy....four years? Where did that go?
I hope all goes well next week . You're not anticipating any problems are you?
Take care.
Those of you who are churchgoers, the French ladies in Barbezieux were thinking of you all last night as England, Wales and N. Ireland had written this years World Day of Prayer. I was invited to read the Jeremiah text in English although they used the French booklets for the actual service. I had made the refreshments too, scones, tea bread and sponge cake( because I was also asked) so I had an exhausting day cooking. Thankfully my son often works as a Commis chef during the summer season and he is visiting so I had assistance. Luckily everyone enjoyed them and I was lucky the scones actually looked and tasted like scones. That doesn't always happen, does it!
Have a good weekend all. Love Karen
Sending best wishes for next week moomy. Four year scan - that is great to have reached that milestone.
Lacomtekp it sounds like you had a very busy day and those cakes sound delicious. Did you take any pbotos? Since being diagnosed as diabetic, I have not been allowed cake (I have slipped on a couple of occasions!) and I long for delicious cakes more even than for chocolate! I bought my husband some hot cross buns last week and used a few to make a bread and butter pudding. How I resisted eating any I don't know!
Tired Minion and Mag123, tired to send a friend request but obviously did not do it right. Would like to join you for a walk next time xx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
