I am loving the news of people giggling despite recent sadness and loss. Keep giggling please.
Last evening at work we had an impromptu party, a couple of the residents were asking for tunes like The locomotion and Wig wham bam and dancing together in the dining room. Staff joining in and people singing along. Considerable cognitive decline and health problems put aside for a half hour of fun and smiles. This is all we can hope and aim for.
Sending love to all, hope the covid never appeared seaspirit44
How lovely Snowys Mum. And covid did not appear thank goodness! Xx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Ok so this is really odd. My long standing bad back (40+ years following being knocked over by a car) became so bad after first two jabs i struggled to walk, sit or lie down. The pain in my hip was constant and every day was agony and I suspected jab caused as got worse after each jab and my back always plays up when I have a virus. Just under 2 weeks ago i had third jab. My back is so much better since. Within a week the constant agony was just after sitting, I could lie on sore hip in bed. I had AZ for first two and Pfizer for third.
Jabs 1 & 2 Mar & Apr.
jab 3 November
That’s very strange isn’t it, the body is an odd thing the way it reacts to stuff, just pleased you’re feeling a lot better Grogg. The party sounds fantastic snowys mum, lovely to hear of high spirits. Moomy you are amazing coping the way you are and deserve a giggle, Mr Moomy would be delighted to hear it so don’t feel guilty. I hope your daughter is feeling better soon, incredibly difficult. Hope everyone’s treatment is coming along ok, 3 weeks now since my last chemo and still feeling achy and tired with a few minor bits here and there but generally ok. Cheered us up by booking our ‘goodbye rubbish year/mums 50th’ holiday to Tanzania and Zanzibar in august by which time I’m hoping the world will have calmed down a bit!! But we’re very excited!! x
Oh you will be missed, hope all goes well for you though, stay safe

Anna12345 that sounds so exciting!
I plan to celebrate later next year by taking myself off to the seaside somewhere in the new motorhome, when I get it! First of all there will be a big job of unloading the present one, deciding what will be needed and reloading only that into the new van! I’ve missed the coast so much.
