Hi Snowys mum, I’m here, thanks for thinking of me, I’m ok. I’m sleeping pretty well other than a wee stop and hot flushes, I actually feel quite exhausted most of the time and been pretty unmotivated. My toenails are sore and half on which is causing me some anxiety and I’m having lots of pre surgery appointments now, surgery in January date tbc. It’s good to have my last chemo behind me, just wondering how long it’ll be until I feel anything like myself again! I hope everyone else is doing ok and survived the wild weather! My fence on my front garden boundary blew down but otherwise unscathed!! X
Been giggling at tv tonight which almost feels wrong since it’s only just over a month since hubs died; but then again somehow it feels ok. Strange how somehow you can be devastatingly sad yet laugh uproariously at the same time.

I was out with my old nurse friends today and one was very sad as she has lost her husband during COVID and also her mother passed a month or so ago.She has been off sick for since,and lives alone..Anyway we tried to get her into the conversation and so on and at the end I looked at her and she was laughing at something!it was so lovely to see.

it reminds me of what my friend said last week.Her son had gone to a restaurant called “The Gigglxxg Squid”and she called it “The Squigly Pig”which I love.
