‘Herd immunity’ sadly just won’t ever happen, daughters partner has been double-vaxxed, still caught it and needed 2 weeks off work but antibody tests showed both antibodies from the vaccination AND antibodies from a previous infection. Yes, had been unwell and took time off work then too but illness had been undiagnosed. So productivity was lowered, therefore economy suffered if that’s all the Govt is bothered by?
I too despair, seaspirit44!

Hiya everyone,
Thinking of you all hoping things are going as well as possible this Sunday.
I have escaped, work and reality in general and am here again at the Blackpool Hotel for the Sunday Sleepover. And Relax...

Violetsniffthe cow in the coal shed made me smile! Reminded me of Cold Comfort Farm.
Snowys Mum enjoy your hotel break. You deserve it.
i just had my third primary Covid vaccine today. Took a bit of persuasion at the vaccine centre as their system cannot deal with it but we got there in the end, and the staff were all lovely. So far feeling absolutely fine.
treatment this week was arduous as trains from Kings Cross to Cambridge were cancelled so had to take the slow route via Liverpool Street but all went well. No,12 of 18 ticked off. I should be done by the end of February. Pneumonia gradually improving and much less breathless.
And in other news, I did an interview this week for John Lewis Christmas temp. I did it in 2019 and really enjoyed it. So different from the work I did most of my life, and very festive. Seemed to go well, but it’s a group interview, plus a written task, so difficult to tell. Should hear within a few days.
moomy. No words, just sending hugs and wishing you rest, peace and the energy to keep going.
Judith
Enjoy your break Snowys mum, definitely hard earned! Thinking of you Moomy and sending love. Yes our covid is nuts here, I know 2 healthy young people who ended up in hospital, I dread to think what long term health problems people will have. All the schools are full of it atm too. I’m hardly going anywhere just trying to dodge bugs so the chemo doesn’t get delayed. Hope everyone else is well and everyone manages some sleep tonight xx
Snowys Mum that hotel looks fab . I'm sure JL will be desperate to hire you. moomy thinking of you at this difficult time .
My nephew still hospitalised with COVID. Scanning and reviewing him tomorrow. He's not a well chappie unfortunately. Feel so sad.but hoping for better news in coming days.
