.
So today my Dad would be 94! He was reunited with my mother in 1990. He was a man who never made conversation for the sake of it but in the two years he was widowed I talked to him more than in previous twenty odd years as he missed my mother's constant chatter. If you asked him what he wanted for his birthday he'd say a biscuit as they didn't have presents as children . He didn't eat biscuits but we'd wrap one in foil for a laugh. He didn't understand the hype on presents & cards he said just do nice things for people. If we argued, which we didn't often , I was a sulker (like my mother ) and if he noticed I wasn't speaking to him he'd say "we've both said our piece , we live in same house so we will speak ". Happy memories
Oh that sounds just amazing, , how lovely for you!

What an extremely poor service from your GP Anna12345 Good advice from Snowys Mum If I want to ask for input from GP it’s via an email service. It’s worked so far. I’ve also had a telephone consult regarding a shoulder problem last year but how he could assess me was a mystery. Obviously he couldn’t as my referral to physio said back problem !!
... good you’ve got some normality back.
I hope everyone has as good a night/day as possible.

“ The only constant thing in life is change “
Morning!! Thank you all for you words of support yesterday, really made such a difference and all your advice which I’m going to take, never occurred to me to email until you’ve both said and makes so much sense. I slept better!!!! God I’m almost crying tears of joy!! Woke up at 1 and was awake for a bit but then slept until 6.15! Longest stretch I’ve had in ages and best nights sleep I’ve had since chemo began, when I opened my eyes and it was daylight I couldn’t believe it. I am also pleased to report my bits feel a bit better today!!
I hope you’ve all slept better and this positivity extends through to all of us and we have a great day, massive hugs
