Silverberg I know that this is the third time you have had cancer. You certainly have not lost your sense of humour. Your posts make me smile. I am sorry you can't sleep I go through those periods but now going through a phase of sleeping 10 hours a night (sorry everyone). Thank you to all the ladies on here that keep me going x

Good you’re able to sleep Leelaloo Like Silverberg I was up, about 3 to 4 am this morning, having a cuppa. Sometimes nights are like that but usually I can sleep reasonably well. Hope you catch up on your sleep today Silverberg I just had a “lie in” and caught up then.
Talking about cuppas, I couldn’t believe how much tea bags cost. It’s a while since I’ve bought any, over a year, so I was taken aback at 160 decaf Yorkshire t bags, on offer, costing £6.50. I’m sure I didn’t pay anywhere near that.
I’m thinking about getting a bread maker. Don’t want a large one. Has anyone got any recommendations?

You know what they say Leelaloo if you don't laugh....
I'm glad I do. I worked in a very socially deprived area. We developed the black humour to survive. It comes in handy at the moment.
Three times! What did I do?
Bread maker Flossie25 Mine is large but it has earned its place in my kitchen, it’s a Panasonic and is my second. My first was the only one (also Panasonic) that was available in the UK - and I still have it though the bread does tend to stick. I honestly believe it’s the best make.

Good morning ....
Please stay warm and safe today. I have watched the UK weather.
I am a little concerned by the French storm. Looking at pan out shots on the BBC, it may go over our house and ofcourse we aren't there if there is damage. Hopefully someone will tell us if there are problems. We couldn't get home if we wanted to....heavy snow in Central Spain along the route we would need to take.
Oh dear ..... we'll just have to stay and enjoy the sunshine. It is cool for an average January but much warmer than Northern Europe....12-14°....
I am thinking of you all, especially those of you who have to go out for treatment today. Be especially careful.....take care.
Loving The Traitors. I had never watched it until the celebrity one and now I'm totally obsessed!
OH doesn't like that sort of thing so I have to wait until he's gone to bed and then watch it on iplayer. Makes me feel mean some nights as I am sitting there thinking isn't it your bedtime yet lol
