    - good news - hurrah for the clear mammogram and the meeting with the oncologist, although a shame that you had to got through all the worry first!

    - welcome to the gang that no-one really wants to be in (although it's a good place to be given the circumstances). We're all a bit bonkers, but that just makes it all the better! Sorry that you're on the roller coaster for the second time. Hopefully the chemo will be as kind to you as possible. I know hair loss can be distressing for some people, but I embraced it this time and went 'naked' (last time around, I went for the bandana look)  - very liberating, and no-one even gave me a second glance!

    - nice to see you in here Karen - congrats on the GMB score - may there be many, many more in the season. Glad to hear that the thyroid meds seem to be working for you - long may it continue! I hope that work improves for you soon - they're lucky to have you!

    - fingers crossed that the exercises will improve your knee!

Happy Wednesday to everyone - hugs all round to those who need them, for whatever reason...

    Good news Ruby Rose …..

Sal ...hope the hydrotherapy works , there has been a lot on media about knee pain lately  Warm water pool would suitme , I am always cold , even wore cardie in Australia when it was 28 degrees !!!

Just come back from 2 mile group walk in torrential rain , found my cagoule is not waterproof , feet still feel like I am walking on broken glass .

Hope the fruit loops are having a good day …..xx

  • Hello everyone. I'm putting a guinea pig pic up because for some reason my like button has disappeared. This is Graham and he is offering his support by flying the union Jack for all fruit loops xxx

  • Well my lovely Fruit Loops, I have finally found the solution to night sweats/flushes! Yes you read correctly I have the solution! No more waking drowning in sweat! In fact I think you might even be able to turn out your snuggliest pyjamas! I know, I know you are intrigued and wondering how I could be so wonderful!

Well the truth is I was browsing the internet and there it was the answer was right before my eyes! I couldn’t believe that no one had thought about it before! Such an obviously simple answer to such a debilitating issue!

So I won’t make you wait any longer.........are you ready my friends............truly ready? I am just so excited to share this.......okay , okay it’s as simple as this...............

Step 1: Go upstairs and brush your teeth

Step 2: Put on your Snuggly Warm PJ’s and Socks

    Step 3: Use the loo

Step 4:Take any night time meds (optional)

    Step 5: Go back downstairs

Step 6: Go into the kitchen

    Step 7:..............

Job Done.......No Hot Flushes/Night Sweats Guaranteed!

    Sweet Dreams My Friends xxxx

Okay I’m sorry! Night Sweats aren’t funny I know that from experience! But if I can’t find a solution then I hope writing this has at least made one of my fellow Fruit Loops Smile! Let’s face it, if they made fridges more comfortable and bigger most of us would be tempted!

Okay I shall put myself on the naughty step for teasing you all! But you know I only do it because I Love You!

If you are all still talking to me! Xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Why didn't I think of that after umpteen changes of pillow cases  (I was only sweating from my head) and numerous changes of towels. You certainly cheered me up xx

If only there was a simple fix , wouldn’t life be so much easier. But love your way of thinking x

just a quick update my fur baby Bluebell seems to be improving after her ordeal, she has slept for most of the time but has eaten, and is also much steadier on her legs.

good luck to anyone with treatment and appointments tomorrow .

    Hi Sal,

    Love it!!

I have gone from night sweats to being cold. Think it is the blood  thinning injections.

Put on a brushed cotton sheet, wearing PJ`s & socks!

Mu daughter had her `clip` injected today & seems ok.

  • Oh Sal,

that would be even better if the fridge was on its side so we could lie down? But it’s certainly an idea..... I am just hoping we don’t end up with stiflingly hot days as we did last year when my hot flushes were coming so thick and fast!

I hope I can could myself a fruit loop, by the way? I know I pop in here now and then.....?

Oh zzzzzz, please come fast tonight!

    Hugs xxx

ps, GrannyLara, so glad Bluebell is recovering! xxx
