Hope you have all had a good day xxxx
This applause at 8pm on Thursdays, I’m thinking Govt thinks it lets them off the hook. I still appreciate all those who are spending their lives keeping us safe, fed and looked after, posties, bin men and all, so clap I still will, but I’m doing it also to check our neighbours are still ok too.
oddly, daughter and her professional singer neighbour, actually now rehearse to bring a mini concert to their neighbourhood!

Hi Grogg
After standing on the drive for over six weeks I decided that I really had to take car a little drive around. Combined it with dropping some much needed new socks to my husband in his care home (Care Home is excellent but they do shrink his socks). Just couldn't believe the traffic. Before lockdown I often visited him just after 7pm when there was either very light or hardly any traffic about.
Left parcel for husband, as agreed with care home manager, then decided to drive on into Exmouth. So busy, long queues at the traffic lights and lots of cars parked along the sea front, in the town centre, the side roads, and the car parks that are normally almost empty looked half full.
Hopefully, shops are coping with distancing.

Lovely that your daughter and her neighbour are able to rehearse together and provide enjoyment for their neighbours.
Also think, for all we moan about Amazon, it has been doing such a good job keeping many of us supplied with things we normally buy elsewhere. I ran out of nuts and although I did buy in kilo bags, they arrived next day and the quality is good. So its a coffee and walnut cake at the weekend or possibly Monday - depending upon when my son in law drops off my eggs. I asked daughter to put butter on his list and was all set to make cake but had only one egg. So will probably make a small batch of rock cakes tomorrow.
Don't know why I suddenly want a coffee and walnut cake, it was chocolate a couple of weeks ago. Reminiscence of when I was pregnant.
Hope everyone has had a good a day as can be, and thinking of all who are unwell or going through treatment.
Must go, Taffy Cat is pointing out it's telly time so have to sit down so she can snuggle up on my lap.

Well, next week was wishful thinking. New damn phone arrived today. Without even giving the rice a chance to do anything. Talk about addicted to electronics!!
As he also had a new drone this month, I certainly don't feel bad spending a few quid on my bow!!
Today I sorted out a water extension from the tap at the front to the garden out back. Hose reel should arrive tomorrow. No carrying cans around anymore!!
I think the siamese is fed up with me being around all the time. Sat on Rob's cushion on the sofa, looked at me, and had a pee. Ugh.
Well, I have 3hrs booked at the range tomorrow. Some tuning at 20yd, then see if I can still shoot 50m.
I might even take some photos
xx

about the socks, it is the industrial washer it is the same where I work. If you want to take a little container in with 'please put socks in to be washed at home' to go in his room, this works for us when people get fed up of stuff being ruined. Like hand knitted jumpers etc.
LondonLass Sal, what a pleasure to see those pictures of the woof woofs and you in the pool and your other post sounded so happy. I am so pleased you are feeling a degree of contentment. You look lovely xxx
If is reading this, know that I think of you often and send every good wish that you are being looked after and are out of discomfort. xxxx
Hoping all fruit loops are doing well xxx
I went to Lidl at 7pm ! Very quiet, stocked up on wine . Then to Tesco couldn't get courgette spaghetti again so nought a contraption to make my own! We had to clap in Tesco . Arrived home at 8.30 and neighbours still out! I'm now watching come dine with me with a glass of wine as I bought 20 bottles !!!
Also bought more bottles of water for delivery staff to themselves to! My Sainsbury's man looked half dead the other week and I asked him if he needed a drink and he said he was desperate! It was 9pm so I safely handed over a can of coke to him but now have water bottles in my porch saying help yourself !
Night night fruit loops all, thinking of you all.......
Sleepy fairy dust available, help yourself. I am assured by the fairies that it automatically adjusts to your right level of need!
