.
Dear , wishing you all the best with your bone scan today. LP is on his way over and is looking forward to meeting someone new......
As you can see he’s wearing his protective gear! That’s so he doesn’t bring any germs with him or back from the hospital! I have explained that he must stay with you and not wonder off, but be warned if he smells food he’ll be off. So best to take some treats with you if you are able!
Good Luck and fingers crossed for good results and a well behaved LP! Take care Hun. Sal xxxx
Morning all. I'm about to give up on sleep after lying awake since 4.10am when I woke with a hot flush which is still going strong! I never had a single one through menopause, and the Accord brand of Letrozole only gave me a couple of quick ones each week, but started Femara on Friday. The joint pain is a bit better (touch wood!) , and my eyes are still sore, but not as bad (mostly pink and a bit gritty rather than needles and flashing lights) so I'm going to keep taking them. Good job I'm not going to work for 8am though!
it was great to hear from you. These are difficult times, and it must be really hard for you right now. It's good that your are feeling a bit better from the chemo, but (gentle!) hugs about the coughing fit! I had bronchitis a number of years ago and coughed so much I pulled a muscle in my back, so I imagine how painful it is:(
Last year I couldn't do my garden either as I had a PICC line in one arm and was recovering from level 3 clearance on the other side whilst on EC chemo which made me feel pretty rough! It annoyed me at first, but then lots of different birds came and I could listen to them singing. A squirrel came, and our 2 foxes were around in the early evening. I managed to water the plants with s hose, but didn't plant or prune for fear of scratching my arm. It was a bit messy, but full of life, and this year the foxes had 7 cubs who play in the garden:)
LondonLass I love his PPE! Maybe be could make him some patterned masks as he does spend a lot of time travelling and in hospitals:)
Off to make coffee and toast now and sit outside. Hopefully the cubs won't have created too much work for me. I've a Zoom meeting at 2pm, so might have a nap after breakfast if I'm not still glowing from the Femara!
Hi , so good to hear from you though so sorry you're having such a tough time, sending lots of love....
Hi , till you get the bed cage, try a stool or just a couple of bath towels rolled up tight to keep the duvet off your feet?
Hi Hope the scan goes ok....
Londonmumof2, hope the hot flush goes, its miserable!
Hi everyone, hope you have a good day, thinking of all who have treatments/scans/results and hope they go well.
Hugs xx
Moomy
Good luck with your bone scan. My ct scan and heart scan were clear and also my bone scan. So try and be positive. Worst bit for me was awaiting results.
Hugs
