.
Morning all.....You'll be pleased to read it's very wet here so no walk.
I had the strangest neurology appointment this week on the phone. Poor man.....trying to understand my description of peeling feet in my poor French ( well, it's ok French but medical descriptions are always tricky because expressions change with the language.) The end result was new prescriptions sent online plus blood test requests ready for the deconfinément and an appointment for early July. Our big problem is that although we are in an area with very few covid cases.....they brought people from Paris down to use the empty hospital facilities using the TGV( very fast trains) which were transformed into hospital trains so they don't want locals near the hospital.
On May 11th the deconfinément will roll out ,...department by department......depending on the stats. All France will be devided on May 7th into red or green zones but then the deconfinément is not so exciting......green zone only.....we can go to school if we are under 10......all shops but no bars and restaurants can open.....masks on public transport compulsory but voluntary in shops and streets....we can drive 100km without a reason and meet up in family groups under 10 people in family homes.
I hope the Charente is in the Green zone. If you don't know the Charente but watched A place in the Sun yesterday ....that was very close to my area, just 30 minutes away and the scenery is the same. We visit those places often and I go to the same church from time to time throughout the year.
Ok.....enough waffle. I am going back to my knitting. For knitters out there......I am struggling with my fingers on a lacy pattern which is decreasing each row to shape the cardigan neck but I have to keep the lace holes in line. I can do it but it's the concentration making my eyes stand out on stilts......( now translate that!)
Bon Journée

I find napkins and 2 elastic bands do well for the non sew masks Northerner ... I’ve got a couple of patterns for those that require sewing. Going to have a rake around for material next ... old sheet, shirt or something

Hope the blood tests go well. Hoping LP got there in time and was as well behaved as he can manage....
Take Care Hun xxxx
Thank you, LondonLass. He arrived in plenty of time, and behaved quite well. The constant supply of treats I brought for him may have had something to do with that. His mask certainly doesn't interfere with eating. He's on his way home now, cheeks stuffed for the journey. Hope he doesn't get too wet.
Night night dear fruit loops, sleep well.........
Sleepy fairy dust is replenished, help yourselves as you wish.
Hugs xxx
