Hi Harvestmoon what a lovely puppy, what is his name? I have four dogs, two long haired chihuahuas, one Yorkie and one mongrel rescue from Romania. I love them and we walk every day in the woods near our house.

Good Morning Fruit Loops. Hope you are all doing as well as you can be!
Lovely to see the puppy pics Harvestmoon not sure if you have had dogs before, or if this is your first. But a little trick for when puppy gets a little bit ‘nippy’ is to yelp! This makes the puppy stop and be aware of what it’s doing! It‘s exactly what its brothers and sisters would have done, if they got nipped during play time! Puppy teeth are very sharp! Also making sure he has plenty of toys to chomp on. You can get some really cute teething toys these days But above all else ENJOY the puppy times as just like babies the time flies by!!
Leelaloo do you have any pics of your Fur babies? That you might like to share! My parents fur baby, but also mine as I live with them is Bella!

Shes 11 now! Don’t know where that time went but we have enjoyed every second! Not a day goes by without her making us laugh! She is and always has been an absolute delight!
I love seeing pics of all the Fruit Loops Fur babies. They have become much loved members of the group, over the years! Xxxx
LondonLass , we used one of the rope-type toys whenever Henry-dog was trying to bite hands, swapped it over quickly and he never really bit hands after that, but was still VERY mischievous of course! But yes, a yelp from us also helped….those baby teeth were SOOOO sharp!
Bella is just beautiful (and I agree, they make us laugh every day, Henry certainly does when he’s here)
hugs xxx

Hi Lee
His name is Luca, he is my daughters but she still lives at home so we get to see plenty of him!

Thank you for the advice, sounds like we are on the right track.
We find he gets worse at listening when he is tired and overstimulated, just like a toddler! He gets put to bed, just like a toddler
Harvestmoon , daughter said Henry used to put himself to bed around 10, not that long after he became fully grown, and one night she was late herself, he came downstairs -and gave her one bark to say ‘it’s time for bed Mummy!’ Made her crease up with laughter! They are so funny.
Tomorrow I’m joining the Remembrance Day parade here with the WI. so will need to walk into town and be there by 9.45….
Night night Fruit Loops, sleep well and stay safe, plenty of sleepy fairy dust for all
Moomy
Hi Moomy, you know I don't know why but since I have had small dogs in the UK, I haven't really had any rules with the furniture. I think it is because they are so small. When we lived in South Africa we had big dogs and I used to train them so I do know how to train dogs but here it has gone out of the window . I am not sleeping very well last few days. I have mets in my skull and last night for the first time I had pain in my head and it made me scared. So will be using the fairy dust tonight.
