Its been really interesting these last few weeks and not really been great. But its great to be here again!
For fuck sakes (yes, the champs have worked out that the filters are less strict!!
I go to get a cup of tea ..................................
And find bloody coke sprayed everywhere, he'd made a VERY halfhearted attempt to clean it up and left the soggy roller towel in the middle of the mess.
I'm going to ask for half of his bonus as cleaners pay................

Hi everyone ,
I have a thousand piece jigsaw on the go , ok so I get carried away and could be up for a couple of hours . But happy hours and contented having a de caf cuppa and a wee munch . My eyes start to close and it’s back to bed , and I sleep a good sleep .
I have been given gifts of jig saws but go to charity shops where they usually have a good selection and cheaper . I have never bought one and found a piece missing .
Jigsaws good for the old brain and perk up the remembering bit !!
love

Hi Optimistic Happy belated birthday. I hope you had a good day and got cool presents.
Blood test result sounds like good news. I know that sounds odd but at least if you know you're coeliac then you can deal with it. Maybe just maybe it's the start of something good for you. I have a friend whose daughter was diagnosed as coeliac when she was 10. Interestingly before diagnosis she refused to eat bread, cakes and biscuits but loved sushi and other rice dishes. Just goes to show that instinct is important. It hasn't really affected her life. She tends to eat food that is gluten free in itself, not the poor copies of foods like bread. Her mother is a Japanese academic so the family have always trended towards Japanese food which I guess makes it easier.
This is all a bit out of order but hey ho.
toxophilite My hubby is much the same - king of the carbs. For example, he can eat a large loaf of Italian bread in one sitting. His blood sugar has started to go up but he just takes the metformin, rather than do anything about it. I make him healthy balanced meals (including frozen lunches) but he just snacks after dinner. Frankly I've given up. I figure it's his life, his choice.
Thank kacang .I'm just a bit confused and annoyed at myself as it's been left so long and just diagnosed as IBS.
t and should have pushed more but just accepted IBS diagnosis. I'm not sure how definitive the results are doctor told me over phone and gave me no info but to me this is quite a big thing in not sure if I need an endoscopy camera down mouth to confirm and this i am really scared of I'm waiting for colonoscopy result so think I may have follow up yet . It is a good thing to have the diagnosis just don't know where to begin and my tummy hurts !!! Xxxxx
Hi
I suffer from ibs and have had a flare up over the last week and in lots of pain with tummy cramps. I think this is stress related as I haven't eaten any trigger food.
The pain from ibs is now more painful than my post op pain from my mastectomy and lymph node clearance! (3 weeks ago).
Peppermint oil is good for ibs. You can get tablets from Holland and Barrett.
