i hope everyone is managing to sleep well too, strangly i am not doing too bad at the moment for sleep just having a few times waking and struggling back to sleep, but a lot on my mind and i am struggling with an infection it seems, but I think a lot of the problems is i feel run down maybe a good rest over the bank holiday will do me the world of good.

Hi Everyone. Had a lovely day yesterday at the spa. Went in and out of the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and pool loads of times, then I went for my hydrating facial.... that was so lovely, I've never had one before, my skin felt so soft and smooth after.
Of course we had to have some tea then, fortunately it came with scones, jam and cream! A truly lovely way to spend a few hours... but then...
I bought a car!.... only an old banger as a runaround but am well pleased with it and it'll give me more freedom as where I live the buses are only every half hour. When I phoned family to tell them they were gob smacked. I'd said I was going to get one but not for a few months but I just thought sod it!
Today went to gp for xray results … chest fine, back showed a 'curve' at base of spine that's possibly trapping a nerve and signs of osteoarthritis (which I knew from bone scans). Doc said no treatment just pain management so has upped the dose of gabapentin instead of taking the co-codamol …. back to her if doesn't work. She was my own gp and really nice so no more cockwomble!
Well. tomorrow son and dil are going overnight to a wedding so I'm going to stay at grannys and help with the kids until they're back late Sunday.Reminder to self: take energy pills.
