Mag123 I do hope you are asleep now and as it's Saturday, don't have to work. It must be a worry if you know you can't stop working yet because you need the money to survive. I was lucky because I had already retired when I discovered BC in 2015. We did retire early due to OH's health and having a pension as a result of an accident but we haven't always had a lot of spare money. Just enough to take away the pressure of having to work. We have learnt to be careful but using special offers have managed to do some interesting things. If you are exhausted now and just existing, perhaps you should also look carefully at the alternatives although I appreciate this isn't always viable.
Silverberg I hope you have managed to get back to sleep too. Aprons for teddies would be beyond me....I hope your granddaughter appreciates your efforts!
Can't you fill a weekly pill dispenser for your pills? OH and I use them all the time. We have to carry our blood type with us on all hospital admissions. Ours were done many years ago at an earlier blood test. We're both very ordinary.....O positive!
I have done my washing early at the cheap rate and it is ready for the line. It looks ok outside and it's so mild. The plants and flowers are so advanced. The daffodils are nearly finished but I have tulips in flower.
Take care everyone. Have a good weekend. I hope pain and worry free.
Good morning Lacomtekp, wide awake as unfortunately, my cats are used to the early starts in the week and do not recognise a weekend!!
It is my granddaughters 4th birthday today and we are required to assist as coat hangers and baby watcher while she and her 2 brothers go on the rides at Gullivers World with mum and dad. I still have to wrap her presents so I must get up soon. But so far it is not raining, which is a blessing and I could do with some fresh air. I worked 6.30 until 5 yesterday, sat in the stuffy office surrounded by people who have a really nasty chesty cough the boss brought back from Cape Verde and generously spread around!! I missworking from home!
Ooh wrap up warm Mag123
It’s chilly out for your mobile coat hanger duties! That working day is far too long, I’m not surprised that you fall asleep by 8pm, which of course is no good for a decent night’s sleep. I hope today’s fresh air is more helpful towards a better night’s sleep. Love and hugs, HFxx
It was a truly wonderful day. All 4 grandchildren were so happy and well behaved. The weather was dry if a little chilly.
Silverberg I am so sorry to hear this is your third time around. Wishing you an easier time of the treatment this time.
I am hoping the fresh air today results in a better night's sleep.
Sleep well all fellow fruit loops xx
I hope everyone has managed some sleep. Since getting back from India a couple of weeks ago I’m now sleeping for a couple of hours at a time and as soon as I wake I just have to get up to the loo. Ive not watched anything on iPad when I go to bed the past couple of nights in the hope I’ll improve. Cut back my intake of water at night too. Maybe I’m going to bed too early. Having an urgent appointment next week isn’t helping but I’m trying to be more an ostrich this time Weather very overcast today but not too cold. I should get out and fill the garden bins ready for collection on Friday. Just been out and topped up petrol.
Have as good a day as possible everyone.

We filled up the motor home on friday. We do it on the way back from wherever. We still have to decide on where we are going for our last trip before surgery.
Speaking of which both OH and I came up with the same question last night. Am I expected to walk from the ward up to the car in the car park on the same day as surgery? BC nurse says OH can pick me up at the main entrance. Mum insists a nurse will push me in a wheel chair to the main entrance. I can remember not being allowed to walk out of hospital 41 years ago carrying my son but I honestly don't remember last time I had the lumpectomy. People of my generation and older keep telling me I won't be sent out the same day because I will have had a general anaesthetic. The majority don't believe me when I say that isn't the case these days. I must admit I am apprehensive this time as it is a much bigger operation than a lumpectomy. Again BC nurse was quite reassuring that I wouldn't be sent home unless it was safe. It is a big responsibility for partners and family members though.
Aprons for the teddies worked out well. Fingers were always at risk though as Granddaughter was in control of the footpedal!
Three times! What did I do?
Price not too bad, so far moomy Last week there was apparently panic buying but no queues today.
Silverberg Thinking about last op (mx) I can’t remember being pushed out in a wheelchair but I was discharged the morning after. I do remember going to Tesco on that day !!
