Oh poor Dexter and poor you too Northerner glad he’s ok now.
The Aurora was visible almost all over the UK, Violetsniff and apparently might also be visible tonight too. And no, just a reasonable view of the night sky preferably without too much light pollution but I’m surrounded by lights and son and I still had great views. It was more like faint clouds seen naked eye but truly spectacular with a phone camera.

Dexter now had walk then a sleep ( lucky Dexter ) scramble egg for Breakfast and would quite like to play !
Told him no running around and on chicken and rice for dinner I’m sure Stanley and Henry know that routine moomy

Fairy dropped off some more dust last night Violetsniff
Stanley seems to have an iron constitution, Northerner but Henry has once been very sick and was on a light diet for a day.

Hi everyone, I fell asleep when it went dark and woke up at 6am so missed the aurora. Went to see my grandson play tennis and cuddle this gorgeous person xx
Only you know what is right for you. You are in the driving seat, in some things anyway. My new book love all this spiritual stuff. Xx

Possibility of another show tonight Snowys Mum
gorgeous pic glad I’ve seen it in case disappears
I am so jealous.....the Aurora isn't quite reaching here although it got to southern Germany. Earth's curve I suppose....
At least we are at last getting glorious weather ( normal expected for this time of year.) Tomorrow we are going to plant out all our troughs and bins with tomatoes, lettuces , peppers then the geranium extras and the impatiems. There is an old wives tale in the Charente that you don't plant out until the last 'ice' saint day is past. That will be the 13th.....but the weather forecast is for 12° at night not frost so I'm not too worried. This will be the first year I've grown up the wall so it is an experiment but I'm hoping to keep the snails away. The peppers will attract colerado beetles( not notifiable here) and last time I tried in the ground I went to bed with healthy bushy plants and woke up to leafless sticks. They simply dessimated them. They will do the same to potatoes
good night all......enjoy your holidays, your grandchildren, your days out and sleep well and painfree if you are recovering.
I think most of the United Kingdom were blessed with the northern lights on Friday night/Saturday morning. I have always wanted to see these and have often thought when the time is right we will go and 'try' to see them..... never did I think we would ever get to see them as far down as the Midlands .... yahhhhhhy
Finally had a productive day - 'half' cleaned the shed out .... trouble is other half as sooooo much 'stuff' - really don't know what to do with it and all he keeps saying is 'we'll sort it later' arrrrghhh
I hope you are healing well moomy - no rushing the recovery, like we tell everyone else - one day at a time, be kind and gentle to yourself .... but remember to try to do the exercises - it really does make a difference!
Sending love to you all - I'm attaching a photo of the Northern Lights .... Aurora borealis althought I do wonder are they really the Northern lights or are they from the extra burst of flares from the sun (think the sun has had 4 or 5 really big flares)
