  • We’ve had lovely weather and it was very motivating as gardening and fence painting done. It’s a good feeling  when you tick off  jobs on a long to do   list. After a full day yesterday I ached all over, my hip pain was up to 10+ when I tried to sit down but with rest & stretching exercises & paracetamol it eased. I took the paracetamol before  fence painting today. My fitness has certainly reduced as I’m not doing as much exercise but the Letrozole may also be the culprit. I’m nearly at the end of my 6th year so definitely time for a break.
I hope there’s sunshine wherever you are … have as good a day as you possibly can.
    xx

  •    I love the photo of you in front of the fabulous rhododendron!!

I did your Day 6 today and managed to do something positive.

Well I am a bit proud of myself although not used to congratulating myself….made me cheerful…

I used to not be able to say boo to a goose before, but I finally managed to get those upstairs to be quieter at night.I did it all by myself without unpleasantness.

However, next time I will ask the committee man as the young man told me he had ordered a carpet a month ago,and it turns out now I realise he never did.So I see what I am up against.A tricky personality.

Did I mention that I saw Patrick Grant at our Literary Festival on Saturday.I nearly fainted!also kept an adoring smile on my face all the time.He is as handsome as he looks on TV.However,he is younger than me and I think he is back with his old girlfriend according to Google!!

    (yes I did my research!)

Bye for now …try to enjoy the sun if you have it…I think it is supposed to be getting warmer xxx(Violesniff*)

  • Good to window shop though. Xx

  • Sending best wishes and good luck to you  xxx

  •   you're always having romantic trysts and brief encounters.

I have been out with my boring boyfriend. He talks about the 10 most common faults on a Vauxhall vectra and how it's illegal for vans to drive over 50 MPH on a dual carriageway. Anyway we went to Barley and Downham which are lovely villages around Pendle and the sun was shining.

We visited a friend on the way home. Yesterday she had to come to church with flat hair as her hot brush had died so I bought her a hot brush on Amazon (she is 86) So we called to make sure it had arrived. Her garden is immaculate so I came home and chopped round with the clippers, to subdue it a bit.

How lovely that you went to visit your elderly friend.I bet she was so happy to see you !!

where I go for a coffee a lot of days is a cafe in town and an elderly lady goes every morning. It reminds me of continental cafes where people go to take their coffee, meet people, read, etc.

    I love it.

I do hope your garden becomes tamer Rofl
