AWAKE.........

Had a sauna in a woodland retreat yesterday. Incense on the coals, wafted and cooled down with sprigs of rosemary dipped in ice cold water. Never done anything like this before. This was in Brighton at Stanmer Park. Loved it.

Glad to hear you had a lovely holiday and good to be so near your son. I can understand why he has returned to work as the 6 weeks waiting for the scan will no doubt feel like an eternity. I hope he is kind to himself and if he needs to take a day to rest he will do so.

I have had a fairly quiet bank holiday weekend although my husband and I went to a comedy night on Friday evening.  

I need to get the house tidy this weekend but despite good intentions I find myself curled up reading instead!! My husband was round at the next door neighbours for a beer yesterday evening so I got into bed at 7.30 and was asleep just after 8!! I usually don't sleep until midnight at earliest so it was a surprise to find I was able to nod off so early!
