Lacomtekp sorry to hear about your mum's accident, let us know how she is doing when you get chance. I hope you can manage the practical details with some quality of life for all of you.
moomy how is the waiting going? I'm glad Henry dog has been keeping you company.
My news is that due to a break in the constant rain I have been able to do some garden maintenance (well boyfriend has while I supervised) Fence mending gutter cleaning. My decking is dissolving Aaarrrrggggghhh.
Also can gardener's tell me if my newly emerging Peony plants will survive after last night's frost???
Peonies actively growing ‘should’ be ok, but they may get knocked back a bit, Snowys Mum , it’s surprising how tough rapidly growing plants can be, in spite of a bit of frost.
im hoping I should hear some news/ideas/progress tomorrow after the MDT, hope it doesn’t clash with my GP call….
Henry is at his new potential sitters overnight tonight, daughter said it’s a very nice place, a two storey flat above a shop but with an outside courtyard. Hope he behaves!
Night night Fruit Loops, sleep well and stay safe, plenty of sleepy fairy dust for all who wish

Really enjoyed concert last night. We did Elijah, and I sang in one of the quartets. I was a bit dubious about my voice, which is still iffy after the virus 7 weeks ago, but it was OK. Just need to concentrate on my breathing and diaphragmatic control a bit more! Xx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Elijah is a big sing, seaspirit44 , congratulations on singing in one of the quartets. I’d love to be able to sing ‘o rest in the Lord’ but that’s a huge sing too.
Sad news, Sir Andrew Davis has died aged 80. I’ve never forgotten the end-of-Prom speech to the tune of ‘Modern Major General’ of G&S fame.

Hi moomy there are tiny flower buds I'm really hoping they haven't been damaged. I waited years for those peonies to flower. When the conditions are favourable they make a lovely show. I will keep you informed. The garden soil is just rough moorland, but I have been throwing Guinea pig/rabbit poo on the garden for years.
It's silly as I could buy bunches of peonies for the supermarket.
Hope you're okay good luck for the coming week xxx
It’s not silly at all, Snowys Mum , it’s really rewarding when plants that you’ve nurtured grow and flower!
Pre-op tomorrow, op 7th May, (still no liver MRI results, surgeon is annoyed!) Covid jab tomorrow too. Bra fitting Thursday, oh I do live the high life, haha!
Night night Fruit Loops, sleep well and stay safe, plenty of sleepy fairy dust for all who wish

It is 4.30 am!! I can't sleep. Work has been awful since I resigned. I've had a number of job offers and have plumped for one but I stress about whether it is the right decision!!
