Hope all goes wellMag123 ......I can't tell you that the anxiety will disappear with time......From experience it just comes back each year until the results appear. ( and I'm lucky as mine take about 5 minutes....) But each time has been good and I'm hoping yours will be ok too.
Can you ask LP if he'd like to divert on his way home? He will know the way and I have an unexpected neurology appointment at 14.30 this afternoon. Just another medication tweak I expect and although I don't pay....the consultant will get 47€! Now am I being cynical?
I promise a trip to LP's favourite patisserie before he catches the evening Eurostar!
It's very grey here and there is wind and rain in neighbouring areas. French newspapers have decided it's Autumn. They may be right........
LP is on a flight over as I type Lacomtekp The cafe fortunately opened in time and I grabbed him a slice of carrot cake before dropping him off at the airport.
I hadn't realised how painful the mammogram is when you have had an excision. The radiographer advised steroids for 4 days before my next scan! My scar is really sore and the lift and pull to get onto the x ray plate when the scar is under the breast, was excruciating. But done and back to work now. Just a horrible 3 week wait ahead. I have been worrying as I've had pain for the past two weeks in that breast.
It’s amazing how painful it is after a WLE - thought it was just me! Hopefully they won’t keep you waiting 3 weeks for results, think I was lucky getting mine so quickly but of course I panicked at the he speed & thought it was going to be a recall! I’m sure the pains were because you knew you had the mammogram coming up - mine were. For some reason my under boob scar is quite sore at the moment. Coming out in sympathy with my arthritic knee with bursitis
Bless you Mag123 hope you won’t need to wait that long! I too was quoted up to : weeks but it was just after a week (thought it’d be a recall as I’d asked if it needed to be that big a squeeze!)
Lacomtekp hope your appt is ok and it’s just a meds adjust? Please let us know?
LondonLass please could LP be ready for my dentist appointment on August 18th? Normally I’d be ok but it’s a new dentist so a whole new ball-game! And I’m sure I’m not alone in HATING dental intervention! I’m even a bit squeamish with the hygienist!
Hugs xxx
