Thank you Mag 123. I’m very sorry to hear about your dad. That’s a horrible recurring dream. The brain is a revealing tool isn’t it? It’s more than a little consolation that you are all there. It does help. Just off to the market now, I’ll see lots of people, and will have a cuppa at the local church with some friends. After hearing their news, I’ll probably feel better. My son is thoughtful, and has suggested that we get a cat (it’s the first house Ive never had one) but we live on a busy road. Thank you again.
Dear Tired Minion and moomy …I ,too love the Matthew Bourne version of Swan Lake.I think it stands in a class apart for imagination. However,my two friends aren’t used to the ballet, but took me,and so enjoyed it themselves.
One couldn’t stop talking about Odette being so fragile with her trembling dance.I personally loved the scenery. It looked like a Gustav Dore scene a lake in the darkness beneath a full moon.I loved it.
of course they had a standing ovation….It was at the Hippodrome in Birmingham.
I hope you can go and see it too.We sang the tunes on the way home in the car!!
love Violetsniff xx
PS,moomy …I did look through my curtains last night to see if I could see the Aurora borealis.I would have loved it…but I couldn’t.I couldn’t sleep so I thought …Oh!I might s we’ll go see if I can see the colours in the sky. However, comfort overtook me and I climbed back into my warm bed…and well done for being signed off!xx
Snowys Mum ….Thankyou xxx
An early night night Fruit Loops, sleep well and stay safe, plenty of sleepy fairy dust for all who wish

So glad you had a good time st the ballet Violetsniff. I too love ballet and particularly the Matthew Bourne version. I have seen his Nutcracker, Red Shoes and Swan Lake. There is always something a little bit magical about his interpretation.
Hi Moomy, just popped on and pleased to see the AWAKE thread still working its magic , this thread helped me when I needed it . 5 years past January since I was diagnosed and hopefully 5 years clear in August . I do have Lymphedema but managing fine . Don’t like wearing my sleeve but needs must .
