Hi all,
Ive been caring for my mum for 4 months she has stage 4 Lung cancer with brain metastases, I'm looking for a bit of advice/info on how to deal with the mood swings and changes in her personality, I can't tell when it's how she really feels or if it's the pressure on areas in the brain.
She upsets me with comments and I try to not let it get to me and blame the cancer.
will the mood changes get worse?
Hi BeachPirate
I'm sorry to read about your mum's mood changes.
I can't help with your question, as I don't have any experience with this, but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list where it'll be more easily spotted.
While you're waiting for replies, it would be great if you could pop something about your mum's diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
