mum has lung cancer which has metastasised to her brain, she has finally (only taken 12 weeks ) been offered whole brain radiotherapy, starting on the 11th July. Trying to figure out what her side effects might be immediately, she is going to come and stay with us during the treatment. I have something on the Saturday night that I can’t cancel, and I don’t know if I need to get a nurse or someone to stay here with her for the evening. She will have had just 2 treatments by then (and none on that day as they are not open during the weekends) I’ll be home most of the day with her, it’s just the evening I’m worried about.
Hi , I’m sorry no one has replied with personal experience yet, I found this link of possible side effects
I’m hoping you can get some advice from her medical team, and reach a decision that your Mum and yourself will feel comfortable with.
Take care KT
