Hi everyone, I am due to get my mask fitted for whole brain radio on Thursday and my breast care nurse has kindly told me it’s a horrendous experience! Can anyone talk me though what happens?
What an unhelpful thing to say! I haven’t had WBR but have had SRS which also requires a mask it certainly wasn’t horrendous, I would go so far as to say I almost enjoyed the mask fitting - it’s the closest we’ll get to a spa day at the moment

Thank you, it was all absolutely fine! No problems at all and certainly not traumatic!
