Hello I am new here.

My father is very poorly with cancer. He had the tumour removed last year and we were given the devastating news that it was cancer.

He was discharged and then a most awful journey began was his wound became infected and he had to return to hospital for 13 weeks.

With support from carers and the most tremendous physio team he was making significant progress - he went from being bed bound to being able to walk unaided again and climb the stairs.

Sadly about a month ago his co ordination started to go again and we have been told the tumour has returned.

I really don't know what to think or feel at the moment as it is truly heartbreaking to see someone you love so dearly and respect deteriorate so quickly.

But he is here today and got that I must be grateful Pray

I am so glad there are communities like this to reach out to Green heart
