I am 47 and have a very strange headache in the front right of my head. It is like a strong flash pain with surrounding pain following. But very short all in all. It comes and goes since few weeks. It does not stay permanent.

I also have since few days nausea in the morning and beginning of the day.

I had also an head mri with contrast 3 months ago which was clear.

Can it be that I have developed a brain tumor that fast?

I read in google about very fast growing turbo cancers and with this 2 symptoms I am very worried now.

Can you give me any advice?

Should I once again do an mri?

Many thanks in advance!

    Hi,

    • I'm sorry your so worried about your symptoms, my advice would to avoid Dr Google as he always seems to only provide the worse case scenario, if the worry is causing you thus much distress I would see your GP and get some advice. Try not to go to the worst case scenario. I know it's hard but you don't know yet. I hope this advice helps

    Many thanks for your answer!

Yes Dr Google is always worst case scenario which really makes mad when you have few symptoms.

Do you think my mri with contrast 3 months ago is enough? Or should I make a new head mri?

    Many thanks!

I really couldn't say. I have to have 3 monthly MRIs but I'm have radiotherapy my tumour was 2cm after I started having seizures when I was diagnosed so really obvious on a MRI. If your really worried all you can do us go back to your GP

  • Hi Hih

a warm welcome to the group. So sorry to hear you are still experiencing worrying symptoms after having had a clear MRI.

If you are still worried, I'd advise going back to speak to your GP to explain how you are feeling. As reallife36 has already said, stay away from Dr Google - he's a scary guy. Focus on what you know - the MRI was clear but there are still symptoms. Try not to focus on what ifs. Easier said than done I know.
