So a couple months ago I had a CT scan and I think that has given me a tumor. I know this thread is introductions but I really need some advice with my symptoms. I have had a quiet high pitch ringing in my left ear for 3-4 weeks now and it's gotten increasingly louder/increased in pressure I think. I've been seeing "stars" and flashes of light in my vision way more than I used to before the CT scan. Other than that I have no symptoms but my worry is that maybe it's a very early tumor and I've started noticing the symptoms very early. If anyone can assist in giving me some advice or maybe knows someone else with similar symptoms that worsened, that would be great, please!

a warm welcome to the group. Sorry to hear about what you are experiencing. You didn't say what you had a CT scan for - could the symptoms you are experiencing be related to the reason you had the scan in the first place?  My advice would be to talk to your doctor in the first instance. CT scans themselves are highly unlikely to cause any issues.

It’s always good to talk so please remember that you can also call the Macmillan Support Services on 0808 808 00 00 - most services are open 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week Clicking here to see what is available. This service provides lots of cancer information, emotional support, benefit and financial guidance or just a listening ear.

Hope you get some answers soon.

    love n hugs
