So i've had part of my brain tumour, just be told it metasitaticzfrom melanoma. Awaiting treatment, anyone got any advice?
HI Romy60
lovely to hear from you. Sorry to hear about all that's going on.
My personal experience of supporting my late husband through his brain tumour lies with a primary stage 4 tumour not a secondary one. I have looked up some generic info for you from the main website

This is a safe and supportive space so I'm confident some of the others will be along shortly to share their personal experience. For now I would suggest that you focus on the facts as you've been told them by your medical team and stay away from Dr Google. He's a scary dude. Everyone's situation is unique and the people best placed to advise you are your own medical team as they have all your scans and medical history. I'd also suggest that ahead of your next appointment that you write down all your questions, fears/concerns and take those notes to the appointment. They can act as a script and help to ensure that you don't forget to ask about something that is important to you. Might be an idea to take someone with you to the appointment too as these can be quite overwhelming.
