Hello. I did a FIT test for the doctor and My results came back the Hb/G scored 26.
I've only had more frequent toilet visits and a tiny bit of blood here and there when I wipe. Doctors examinations have all gone OK.
I'm awaiting a consultation with the doctor hut is 26 a high score? I just can't really find much on any of it
Hi Kris6191 No it’s not a high score at all. I’ve attached a link to a post below where someone had a similar score and a member has posted this week to say that her score of 144 turned out to be haemorrhoids. There are a few things that can cause blood in the stool like piles, ibs, colitis, diverticulitis and only 1 in 10 colonoscopies results in a bowel cancer diagnosis
It’s good that you’ve been to the doctors and you’re getting thoroughly checked out so please let us know the final outcome - it’s always helpful to others
Take care

Hey, just a small update. I spoke to the GP yesterday who was I just say VERY reassuring. He said combining my age and score he would say its highly unlikely BUT let them do there due diligence and rule it out from the get go and find out what's going on.
While it means I could still potentially have something hopefully it's something a little lesser. I have to do a blood test next week and dependant on that will determine next course of action.
Regards
Kris
Small update.
I had my face to face with consultant and he has recommended a flexible sigmoidoscopy. I've no idea if that is a good or bad thing.
My blood results came back and its generally all fine. Iron levels and Hemoglobin are all as they should be.
I'm suffering really badly with health anxiety at the moment. Constantly feeling everywhere. Panicking over anything that seems slightly put of place or bigger then it should be. It's really bad. I think once I know what the outcome is then I will be fine.
I have my procedure on the 4th which is next Sunday.
