I have just started my first cheemo after a right side colonectomy which is good . My mother just died of bowel cancer on monday and the funeral is feb 4th i have not had vaccine so unsure to go scruffy7
I was told yesterday that a close relative had died and even though I have had the jab I have been advised not to travel to attend the funeral. This will be harder for you because she is your mother but unless you can be sure of staying within your own bubble the advice may well be not to attend. I tell you this so that you can be mentally prepared if this is the case. And if do insist on going, I know I would want to if it was my mother, then you can make sure you will be guaranteed safe distancing and perhaps ask your gp if you can get moved up the list for the jab. I hope all this helps you in your decision.
Really sorry to read this . What a difficult situation for you .
