Good afternoon so this morning I attended my local hospital for a colonoscopy thinking everything was going to be fine only to discover that I had to wait for the doctor to come and talk to me which was a sign that I hadn’t expected she then confirmed that she had found a smallish polyp/tumour which she decided not to remove as she felt it needed further investigations and that I have to have a CT and MRI scan now so I’m awaiting these and obviously somewhat concerned having thought that I was perfectly alright and as fit as a fiddle. It is nice to know that there are other people out there who are probably in the similar situation because at the moment I haven’t actually told anybody apart from my husband we have yet to talk to our children about this but I’m feeling that maybe I should wait for The final results before we go down that route they are all married with children of their own but at this stage I think it’s best just to hang on and wait for a final confirmation.
