Managed a short walk just before we lost the sunlight !
So far a short walk each day has been my goal !

Good morning all, and late I know but happy new year to you all. Court glad you had girlie night away but sorry mum had issues and more scans that were not expected….have a lovely Sunday all whatever your doing. I am just going to do housework and expecting a call from my grandaughter who has gone back to Scotland yesterday, had a lovely Christmas with all the family but different as the older grandchildren out or working…family life is always changing I have learned and we have to change with it, as work comes into play, and they get new boyfriends or girlfriends and going out with friends. I miss the old family but rejoice we have family. Take good care everyone and we are almost half way through January already and I can see a glimpse of spring! Xx
Afternoon process
You are so correct . I loved when you knew everyone was going to be together but now we are learning the art of being flexible and pulling things together when the opportunity presents itself .
We are aiming at a family burn’s super for those “Free to attend “ .
I am making the trifle but might make a chocolate one !

The temperature was -8 here for the last few days so hope everyone on chemo managed to staff well and not have too many issues with cold sensitivity.
Now it’s lifted and the wind has joined in but nice to see the birds giving the surfers a run for their money .
The rest of the day I am staring to rearrange things and clean out cupboards . It’s an exciting time here .
Just when I thought mum was on a downward trajectory she has bounced back and even managed to correct a slip on the ice without a fall . Here’s to more good days .
Let us know what you are all up to .

New year, new us!
Well, life was going ok and I was busy but... looks like I am back. A whole load of the symptoms have returned. The fatigue is the worst it has ever been, it is really hammering me, and many other symptoms added to that. Have spoken to GP, stuff is being examined. Hopefully another colonoscopy soon. Shows how desperate I am, when I am lookinh forwards to that so I get answers. :D
I also have developed a nasty looking lump on my ear. Am investigating it. But I am thinking that 2024 is going to be a year of fighting...
I do hope everyone else is wonderful!

stoatlord Hi Robin and lovely to hear from you again although I’m sorry to hear that you’re struggling. Yes all the tests are not very pleasant but a necessity to get to the bottom of what’s causing your issues.
We all know that you’re a strong person and a fighter so deep breath and remember that you’ve got an army of friends here supporting you
Take care

I will. I admit, I am far more scared now than I was when this all started. I was confident I could beat it then, and I did. But now... well. I am not as strong as I was, and it is hard to remain positive all the time. This is the third time I have had to confront all this. I will fight, fight, fight! But each time, it gets tougher!
Hi Karen!
Appointment with GP now made. Not until February 6th, but that seems to be the way of things these days. GPs are so woefully under-resourced.
I also will admit that, given the cancer that people are fighting in this group, the phrasing "getting to the bottom of" the issue did make me laugh slightly...
