Hi everyone
I'm Steph from the Community team
Here is a new thread for carers, family and friends. This is a space for you to chat, share experiences and support each other through issues related to your loved ones bowel cancer. The previous thread will shortly be locked as it was getting rather long which can make it difficult to navigate.
Please remember that we also have other dedicated spaces on the Community for carers, family and friends. These spaces exist so you can support each other away from members of the forum who might be dealing with their own cancer diagnosis:
Supporting someone with incurable cancer forum
You would be welcome to set up another new thread like this in one of the above forums. Please just let us know if you would like any help?
We hope you will continue to find lots of support from each other and the Community. We're here to help, so please do let us know if you have any questions or support needs by emailing us at community@macmillan.org.uk
Happ birthday Helen. As Jkee says raise a glass to Kevin. I forgot Les birthday on 22 June. Oops. Had more things to think about but we never celebrate anything.
happy birthday to you.
hugs and love to everyone. Maggie xx
Happy Birthday Helen Hunni!
Try to enjoy it best you can. I know it will be hard but you'll be able to sit and reflect on memories of all your other Happy Birthdays I'm sure. I still all those `firsts` to come too and I'm guessing I'll just be the same. Have a nice day as well as it can be. Thinking of you.
Vicky xx
Afternoon All!
Having a wee `chill out` day. Sitting listening to some music and reflecting on the past couple of days and thinking of what is to come. Had a wee couple of G n T's to myself last night in honour of my man so that helped me relax and sleep a bit better plus the heat from yesterday walking around that park helped too I think. Sister gone home for a couple of days as I think I mentioned already so just really enjoying some peace and solitude today which I never thought I would appreciate. Jjust doing some general tidying up and getting rid of a couple of things (not Jay's stuff yet) but just things that I feel have served their purpose. The real clearing of the decks will begin from tomorrow. Have a nice day all!
xx
