Hi all, thank you for accepting me. My husband has been diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer. At present I am not accepting it, it makes me feel sick, panicky, shaky etc. it was a complete shock. Anybody else in the same situation. Many thanks
Paul used to have tropical fish and I used to clean the tank etc but he got fed up with the noise in his living room of motor so that had to go I’m pleased to say!! He also had a cat which was a bit wild and we were fed up travelling twice a day to feed it and then up and down to the hospice so we had to re home it. The things we do……some days we were doing 100 miles was expensive and said the cat has to go
I wouldn’t know where to start emptying a pool the size you have!!
Bit cooler today and a few drops of rain here.

hi Helen, I know daughter coming on Monday I think if Les not up to it. We have a thing that will empty it then leave some in get wellies on and in we go to catch the two fish probably slip as well. It is really sad that he lost them but you never know what is going to happen in the future. I will then have nothing to look after apart from Les. Just doing tea, a bit late but hey ho. Have a rotten headache as it is very humid outside. Thankfully it was cooler today. Suppose to rain tomorrow so won’t be doing the pond then.
take care everyone. Love Maggie xx
Oh Maggie your life sounds so much like mine. We have budgies in an aviary in the garden, only 5 left but it is always my job to clean them out. I do insist he shuts them out into the outside flight though as I hate them flying round my head.
hugs to all

Hi Ladies!
Just not long back from the hospital again. He's much the same so no better no worse. Had his oranges again today and some ice cream. Got him some pears but they were a bit hard and tried to cut them into little bits for him but they were too hard for him to chew so need to wait until maybe they go a little softer. Wiliam and Nicole came in with the little one and then Jay's two nephews showed so he had a roomful of visitors which was good for him.Slept a little off and on and was happy just to see everyone today. See what tomorrow brings.
xx
Morning everyone. Torry the first of everything is going to be hard for you. Do you go to church, I don’t as it is a bit drab but I like the church where they sing and dance. Les would not go either.
sundays are sort of boring but I like to watch Catherine Cookson usually on a Sunday afternoon. I even watch the reaped ones on tv.. I know it is not the same but I feel lonely and there is a lot he won’t let me do like butting the plum tree in the garden where the dogs went as it is huge now.
back later hugs to all Maggie xx
Morning Helen!
Yes I get you! I am looking at this being our `last` Father's Day. William brought in cards last night for him one from him and Nicole and one from Myla. Couldn't actually get him anything but brought in a tub of ice cream nurses couldn't store it though as they don't have a freezer in their wee kitchen they have a fridge to store patients drinks etc but that's it so William needed to take it home again. Myla saw it and said `Myla's ice cream` so guess she will get it.
xx
Afternoon Helen gosh there is a lot of first you have to wade through today is a sad day I still feel it for the loss of my own father the children have said today will we get another one with dad I don't know. On the funny side bloody cockapoo cards cockapoo planter t shirt and cockapoo mug please no more love to you all xx Oh and the puppy woke at 6.45am
