Hi has anyone on here suffered loose stools
Hi
Is this due to you taking a laxative? I know you had constipation recently has it gone to the opposite extreme?
You could chat this through with the nurses on the helpline 0808 808 0000 as it’s a tricky balance regarding a colon tumour so you don’t end up obstructing ! Did your team mention if your colon was still passing well or to take care ?
You can always phone your oncologist specialist nurse too ! They should be able to give you some advice on how to find the balance !
Take care ,

Hi Winst
I am new on here but I.have had my stoma for 5 yrs now , at first I had a lot of diareah was afraid to go anywhere I didn't know! I lost all my confidence and because I was having chemo it made it worse I was soiling a lot of my clothes too and having to throw a lot away especially if I was out.
I am gradually getting used to it and got no choice as I am stage 4 in my Cancer now manageable but can't cure it .
Please keep in touch
