Hi Winst
Yes after I found out I had Bowel cancer that was on the Sunday when I was taken into hospital, and that was because I was having terrible pain and being sick thought it was all down to constipation both myself and my doctor thought the same ! I wish , I had to have emergency surgery on the following Tuesday due to bleeding , and after having that j would need mop up treatment to clear it all .
So I started the chemotherapy called Oxiplatim and folfox later in the November for 6 months I think j lasted and things started going bad I took rejection to the treatment I ended up with Neuropathy which is to do with the Nerves causing pins and needles and pain .
But after having my next scan I was elated as it was all gone! So I didn't need anymore treatment but that they would do another scan in 6 months time again it was clear.
But just after that I started with chest infection having trouble breathing so they decided to do another scan and that's when they found the nodes in my lungs only 2 so they said j could have an operation to have them removed and that they would take it from there , had the op done and after 2 weeks had another scan and again was so pleased no chemo this time it Was once again clear .
So they arranged another scan 6 months later and that's when it all started again but this time they arranged a pet scan as they wanted to have a proper look as it seems there it was in a few more places ie lungs liver chest wall peritoneal bowel and now it was stage 4 that was in Oct 2019
I won't go into anymore as I have bombarded you already with lots but happy to have another chat , when your ready
Take care Jimbobs
