Hi Ive got an appointment on 20th september. Early diagnosis centre. Im terrified. Im told ive got cancer. What do i expect

    • Hi Jockney I’m not the most knowledgable about what happens. Mine was through the poo test, then I had a colonoscopy which they was certain, scans followed. I’ve already had treatment, but unfortunately on my last colonoscopy they said what looked like a cancerous polyp biopsies come back inconclusive had it repeated and still come back inconclusive.. please don’t do as I have done and that was google I’m now desperately anxious. I wish you all the very best . I notice you put early diagnosis centre. So if it anything from what I do know is that if it was cancer it is very treatable. Hopefully someone will come on and give you more info. Take care Nelly55

  • Stress at this stage is really horrible . I can absolutely testify you can loss weight even just watching someone going through this  process and that’s not as a patient just a relative but just to show you it’s more to do with the stress than any impact the cancer is currently having !

Hopefully they will get a good plan in place and some of the adrenaline will settle a bit .

    Take care ,
