Hi court, I'm very well thanks for asking, how are you, getting blustery up there?!
Following my local hospital declining to operate, I have had a private consultation with Professor Lodge, he said I am difficult but not impossible, he could potentially do ALPPS procedure. Since then, I have also had a call from my Oncologist regarding the second referral to Basingstoke, she has spoken to Mr Rees (OBE no less) and he said IF my PET scan that I had last week shows no further spread, he will see me in Basingstoke to see what he can do. She was going to chase up the scan results and call me one day this week. Just praying that nothing too much has changed in 8 weeks....

Hi Star74
The forum has been so busy I could not find this thread !
Oh that’s more like it ! That’s heading in a more positive direction ! Hope that speeds up for you too and you can get this moving !
My mum had a few months between chemo stopping and scanning and I am sure there was a bit of growth but nothing that they could not handle !!! I would have to say once she got the green light she was in within a week ! It can suddenly change direction quite quickly !
take care ,
Court
