Bowel cancer

  1. Hi I'm quite new to this I have posted before and spoke with a lovely nurse I lost my dad my hero 10th November 2020 11 weeks after being diagnosed with local bowel cancer everyone was so positive the surgeon's words were we aim to cure dad had 1 week radiotherapy then was to have 9 weeks of chemotherapy he had his 1st chemotherapy onot the Friday we lost him on the Tuesday I saw him the day before and he seemed OK I am lost don't know how I have lasted the last 10 months I am struggling very very hard as dad was only on paracetamol and no one expected him to die I can't get my head around it my dad had a post mortem and he had 3 life threatening things happening I just want to know would he have been in pain did he know he Walked past my mum at 7 to go to the toilet died at 7.10

    Hi Ive got an appointment on 20th september. Early diagnosis centre. Im terrified. Im told ive got cancer. What do i expect

    So sorry for your loss. It takes a long time to recover from the pain of losing a loved one. 
    I wouldn’t think your Dad would have known if he walked past your Mum ten minutes before.
