Avastin with FOLFOX

Hi Grace, I have liver mets and peritoneal lining mets, I started folfox and Avastin in April every two weeks and had shrinkage, I am due my next scan next month so fingers crossed for another good result .  This is also 2nd treatment for me as the Folfuri and Cetuximab stopped working.  I find the side effects much easier to cope with too,.  Unfortunately I can't help you with paying as I am fortunate enough to have private medical care through my previous job.  Personally I would start straight away but we all have our own thoughts. I wish you well and and keep strong, we can do this!! X

Hi Marycl.  This is so good to hear, thank you for replying.  I don't really need advice re paying - that's me not thinking about my wording.  I had the same first line as you from February and it stopped working for me too.  All the very best and many blessings for a good scan result. xx
