Here we go ! We have arrived in Sep! For all new people this thread is just for taking a moment out to say “Hi” tell us how you feel , what you have been up to or show us your creations etc !
Having sat for an hour in the cold at a particular location waiting for the moon to rise over a set rocks, we gave up and headed back ! I the car we noticed the moon in quite a different location in the night sky ! However you got to make be best of everything and stayed outside as the sky was amazing and look what showed up ! It was visible to the eye but needed the lens to show the green ! So that’s a first for me and a bit rare I think in the summer !
It was the one thing I wanted to see !!
Felt a bit strange afterwards !
Sun is out here so the washing is on !
Have a good day !
Court
Sorry for the double post everyone - the first one didn’t come up so I left it for a while then decided I must have deleted it somehow and now here it is! Are there keywords/photos that flag it up to the moderators for approval or something court? x
No I think that’s just a glitch Karen ! It only goes to the moderators if you accidentally press the “flag to the moderator “ . If someone does that even by accident it’s automatically removed , read and placed back on !
But I have noticed a wee glitch or two myself so think it’s more likely to be that ! Anyone can flag to the moderator and they have just recently moved the button over as it was happening in error !
I have also noticed if someone else is replying it impossible to post your reply ! Has anyone noticed that ?
That was some amount of caterpillars . They have devoured my hosta but can’t find the culprit!
We have sudden larch death in our neighbourhood! They are all turning brown ! Lots of trees here so it could be a very different landscape in a few months !
Roasting day here !
Take care ,

Thanks court, yes it was an uncomfy meeting.
Kareno62, you and me both! I've had one hip done 4 years ago now, wow, and as seaspirit44 says, they then condemned both my knees which were replaced singly. Unfortunately my remaining hip is starting to go, and I have an xray on it next week. I know its probably slightly early, but it is going fairly quickly (I recognize the symptoms) so I want to get on this very long (probably) waiting list!! Another reason for trying to do more stuff, in case it seizes like the other one.
Need some answers from test results then will have to decide the near future plan. It might have to be different than I originally wanted. Oh well.
Yes I still have an aspect of long covid, mostly fatigue, which is becoming very frustrating. The breathing is marginally better, but trying to work through that, and do more. This is why I know the hip is going. I am concerned when, like on Monday, all 4 joints hurt. I don't want the hip to cause any revisions on the other joints. Can't cope with that. Xray today, so we will see.
I'm fed up today, as fast as I try and go forward it seems I go backwards. Still waiting for various test results. Did try chasing one but got nowhere.
Moan over!!
Yes, ramorum is a big problem, and has decimated a lot of Welsh larches. Mind, there are few trees who don't have some sort of pest or disease. Another depressing subject!
So I will leave you with a Charlie Mackesy

Been enjoying sunsets and darker sky’s this week ! Even spotted a shooting star ! Always makes me happy !
Gemmary long covid reminds me of a neurological condition ! The weakness and multi system impact ! So much yet to be discovered about it . Sending you loads of love as it’s hard getting support when you are ahead of the research ! Really feel for people caught in that situation just now . It’s hard enough when they understand the condition !
Again we are having good weather ! Don’t remember such pleasant weather over such a prolonged duration ! Yippee!
Take care ,

Some great ideas on there.but maybe I had better skip on the knitting.just checked the cupboard to find I have completed 10 blankets for charity.so maybe time to stop and change tack.the knitting did get me through treatment though.once my numb fingers improved of course.2yrs on they arnt perfect but good enough for plainish knitting.
