Here we go ! We have arrived in Sep! For all new people this thread is just for taking a moment out to say “Hi” tell us how you feel , what you have been up to or show us your creations etc !
Having sat for an hour in the cold at a particular location waiting for the moon to rise over a set rocks, we gave up and headed back ! I the car we noticed the moon in quite a different location in the night sky ! However you got to make be best of everything and stayed outside as the sky was amazing and look what showed up ! It was visible to the eye but needed the lens to show the green ! So that’s a first for me and a bit rare I think in the summer !

It was the one thing I wanted to see !!
Felt a bit strange afterwards !

Sun is out here so the washing is on !

Have a good day !

Court

  • It looks beautiful Court Nelly 55

  • Wow ! Didn’t know you could see it in Scotland.

Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!

  • Hi

I think without the lens you could walk by it and think it was a mist ! But I have been hoping and looking for years .
Winter is apparently better to see it !

There is an Aurora alert that comes out !

How are you getting on ? Are you feeling the benefit of your replacement now ?

  • Hi , doing well thank you. I’m so glad I had it done. It is better than the other knee now,. When swimming I swerve to the left all the time, showing that the operated knee is stronger! I stil need to work on muscle strength though.
The polyp biopsies were normal, no further follow up required. That is a relief. I must keep my PPI dosage to a minimum now. Doing it slowly, symptoms not too bad so far. Definitely not stopping them !

How are you and your mum? What a wonderful success story is hers!

    Take care

  • So pleased to hear that . What a relief ! I am going to do the same with mine as it has made me think . We shall see how we get on !Rofl.

Mum is doing fine . Going on a wee holiday and it will give me the chance to catch up with some things that require attention on my end !

Think I will take a few days away from the forum too and focus on what needs to be done !

We are getting some sunshine here which is much appreciated. Hope your getting some too!

    Take care ,

  • Yeah, that's good news , long may it continue!!

Not sure where the time goes at the moment, I suppose when I can do stuff I do it, before the fatigue hits. I've decided that as 'nothing' seems to be wrong (I beg to differ, but don't know what!) I will have to just get on with things. It backfires sometimes but I will try it and see. What have I to loose?

Training day at school yesterday, gave up sitting in a big room with lots of staff, sat in the doorway instead!!  Not comfy at all. I will have to see how it goes with the kids back in.

Have to admit i'd love to see an aurora, I know you can occasionally see them in the Midlands. Good for you, !!

  • I spy with my little eye !

Just noticed your post . I had a few days away from the board !
That sounds a really rubbish meeting ! The doorway sounds very unwelcoming on so many levels ! Honestly too big a group in a room just now and I am looking for the exit anyway! I don’t think we are all going to snap back into previous behaviour without any issues now ! Sometimes I am completely unaware then suddenly think that’s making me uncomfortable and I can only think it’s a covid throwback now !

You have the physical recovery to factor in and all that comes with trying to Piece this all back together !

Not east at all . Sorry for not seeing your post earlier ! I will send you a pm !

  • Morning all. What a lovely picture Court. We seem to have a lot of Cabbage Whites here and I think I’m probably to blame! After enthusiastically planting nasturtiums with my granddaughter I planted them in the garden and proudly showed her them flowering every week ……..until one day I looked at them and they looked ravaged! ……if you zoom in on the picture you can see the caterpillars - there were hundreds! It’s fair to say the green garden bin was full that week.
Goid to hear that you’re doing well  I’ve been told that I need a hip replacement (possibly both) so I’m trying to follow your tag line. How’s it going back at school ? I’m not sure what normal is anymore - I was mortified when I realised I didn’t have my mask on in the supermarket even though we don’t need to anymore.

Well I’m having a lazy day today before picking my granddaughter up from nursery for the first time - can’t wait to see the surprise on her face or the horror as I wrestle her into the car seat

    Hugs to all

  • What a lovely picture . We seem to have a lot of Cabbage Whites here and I think I’m to blame! The lovely nastartiums that I planted with my granddaughter have been ravaged by caterpillars. I’ve had to dig them all out but had a lovely image of the recycling lorry filling with butterflies as they emptied our garden bin!

Good to hear that you’re doing well  I’m waiting for a hip replacement (possibly both) so I’m trying to heed your tag line.

How are things going back at school ? I’m not sure what normal is anymore as it seems more normal to wear a mask in shops now than not.

    Virtual hugs to all

  •  all those caterpillars! Sorry to hear you need hip surgery. I’ll tag  who has had hip as and knees done.

I would have been very uncomfortable in a room full of people. I am the only one wearing a mask at Tai Chi and the leisure club where I go swimming. I do hope your fatigue is easing off.
