Hi started cycle 2 on Monday.. feeling tired Zzz!! And mood isn’t a good a last week, I’ve to get ct scan next week as plural effusion wasn’t changed much , praying it’s just fluid as they have sd all along ! Does the tiredness change at all ? Had tumour removed in March and 26 lymph nodes clear

so lucky but nervous about lung ct scan.. what if it’s spread ...

Hi Catsski, thanks for asking I'm doing just great at the moment thanks. Got in a good week today , always perks me up. Yes I have tons of Loperamide in my med box lol as not using! I was writing down what food caused me to go more often, not recording actual food items eaten any longer, but it sure did help me in the first few months after op.

Hope you are doing well, have a good week!

    Hello Rose2020,

Great that the MRI scan has not revealed anything  to be concerned about and the PET scans do not take too long, just like passing through an extra large  polo mint and back!

All very positive from you and encouraging me to adopt the less stressing attitude. Thank you.

    Hello Stomagirl  and Rose2020,

    1. You will not believe this! Both Stomagirl and I off chemo. I was recovering really well, abe to eat and taste food, no pain as all meds working really well, but still easily tired, but On Friday had a light switch day and I felt totally amazing, I had energy! I thought great a whole week like this before my next chemo, but then... Saturday morning, had a balck out in the loo ( think it was low blood presure) did a face plantand  ended up in A&E. Now two black eyes,  a nose bigger than Ben Nevis and  a mouth full os stitches as my teeth went through my lip. I look  dreadful! However, the good thing is I still feel absolutely fine and actually my face seems to be healing quicker than I thought ( Need mask and sunglasses  to not scare anyone including me!). Seeing my oncologist on Thursday and hoping for reduced medication... Hope you two are both okay.                                                       Thinking of you                                                                                                                                                                       Catsski

Hi Catsski, oh wow what a thing! So sorry about your face eek! Hope you recover soon.

Are you off chemo currently or finished with chemo?

Glad to hear you had got some energy back, and sorry about the black out. I am doing great. Got into a bit of a lazy moody slump this morning as my feet and hands are very painful & tingly at the moment (very common chemo side effect). I love walking but my feet ache like mad, so I got on my son's bike and went for a fantastic and revitalising cycle. Came back very sweaty as its currently 30 degrees in North London!!

Feel better though for it, for sure. I always feel better when I get outdoors, mentally & physically.

Take care and hope it all goes well with your ONC on Thursday. I have PET scan Sat morning so fingers crossed AGAIN!! HushedSmile
