Just checking to see if we are all finding our way around the site .
I have been through a few platform changes over the years here and it always takes me time to adjust .
Hope you are all ok and keeping well .

I love being near the water, even though I’ve not been in for a few weeks, as hubby isn’t up to it at moment, but just walking by it is uplifting, so good for the soul. Our daughter loves her paddle boarding and the little one rides along, mind we tend to wear wet suits unless it’s really warm, bit too chilly otherwise.
We’ll probably go this morning as starting to get anxious about telephone consultation with oncologist Monday.
Oh to feel normal again, but I’ll block it all out and think of the sea.

Hope you enjoy your swim today . Sounds a great facility.
Sorry to hear your husband is having issues . It causes so much anxiety and I hope the cause is something easier to treat . I wish him well with the scan and colonoscopy and you with yours too. I will be thinking about you both .

Hi,
Distraction therapy is so good for the soul . I swear we become masters at compartmentalising our lives when it comes to appointments . I heard a young girl saying she gives herself permission to think about it the day before but refuses to consider it before that . I wondered at the time how that was even possible but honestly think it starts to happen . Must be a form of self protection .!!
I would love a paddle board . We have photos of our boys from tiny wetsuits right up . Wish I had kept them but I guess it was better to let others use them . We are by the sea just now and my adult sons have joined us . Way too much fizzy juice in the back of the car and we ended up in a lay-by . Just like when they were young . My husband and I could not believe it . Thanks to corona I have had a bit more time with them this summer . Got to be a positive!!
Have a good weekend .

I think you’re right, I’ve always thought thinking too much about some stuff is a dangerous pass time and when our fates are in someone else’s hands or just the luck of the draw, we definitely need our minds to protect us.
How lovely that you got to spend time with your boys and a happy and funny reminder of their childhood. I guess the mistake was the fizzy pop, I so remember having corona delivered when our daughter was young, it must have been in the 80’s.
You should get a board while you can, or at least rent one and have a go, but look a quiet calm day in a quiet spot

Just realised you meant the corona virus, I was referring to the fizzy pop.....dah
No I was meaning fizzy pop ! You were right !
It is not until I come in here I am even aware of using “wee” . It’s a give away as to where I come from.
Ha . Have a great day . We have sunshine and wind so off for a walk . I have also to pick up some presents for my mum to distribute . She is a giver !
Take care ,
