I’m due to have an APR operation Monday and remove my current ileostomy and replace with a permanent colostomy due to another cancer growth.
Is anyone willing to share how the APR is done, how they sew up ure bottom, pain etc ? I want to be prepared for it but feel nothing has really been explained about that part (maybe because it’s too gruesome!)
Thanks in advance
Hi Char Cad I had a different sort of op but hopefully another member with that experience will be along shortly. I bookmarked this post a while ago as I thought it was really helpful
