Currently on immunotherapy, had a scan yesterday and I received a text to say my oncologist appointment which was scheduled for next week has been moved to tomorrow.
Now on top of the usual anxiety I am worrying about the appointment being moved to tomorrow and something awful has turned up on the scan.

We would all feel the same, I am sure. However, with the benefit of hindsight, would you not prefer to be treated quicker rather than hang about for an unknown length of time? I learned that there is no point in worrying about something over which you have no control. It achieves nothing and just causes upset amongst those around you. Let the experts do the worrying!

hi BrenW , Worrying is what we all do well and I think we would all be the same. However like Dulac says if you can’t affect the outcome then it’s wasted energy and my mum used to say don’t worry until you know what it is you need to worry about and it will possibly not be as bad as imagined. Easier said than done I know. Can you do something that will distract you or at least tire you out so you sleep well tonight. ? I read, play games on my phone or put on some loud music to sing (badly) along to. On the positive side you only have to wait until tomorrow instead of next week. And it could be good news!?
Thinking of you & goid luck tomorrow xx

I can just imagine how you feel I would be exactly the same - am dreading any scans already! I will be thinking of you. Take the positives, if it is something things are moving quickly and you only have to get through til tomorrow rather than waiting anxiously for a week. Plus it may not be as bad as you thinking. I know it's much easier said than done, it is all very challenging x
Hello everyone,
I hope you don’t mind me popping in! We’re so grateful for all the support being shared here.
We’ve noticed that some of you may have been struggling to sleep during the night. If you ever feel like chatting through the night, remember that the Online Community is always open. We're working to make it easier for members to connect, no matter the time.
To help bring everyone together, we’ve created a new thread in the Cancer Chat forum called Awake and Up All Night. It’s a relatively fresh thread, so it might take a little time to build a community of members supporting each other through the night, but we’d love for you to join the conversation when you can.
Thank you again, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
