Good afternoon everyone.
Please bear with me.
Last October I was diagnosed with Melanoma and I am now on meds for this.
I have had CT Thorax / Pelvis scans with contrast, my last one was August 24.
On a separate note, I had to do a fit test just over a week ago and my GP said it was a reading of 30ug, he said it was a low reading but still have to do more research.
This has now scared me so much.
I asked my oncologist did my CT scans for my Thorax / Pelvis scan with contrast show anything in my bowel which they answered everything was clear.
But I am still worried sick I now have bowel cancer.
Is 30ug a high reading ?
Thank you all.
Simon.
Grinch Hi Simon. Not it’s not high but it’s detected some blood in your stool sample. This could be due to diverticulitis, colitis, ibs, piles, crohns but it’s good that you’re getting checked out and a clear scan in august is reassuring.
I’ve attached a link to a similar thread which will hopefully help?
Take care
