Hello to you all.
Saturday afternoon and I am in sheer panic, and wondered if any of you have experienced my symptoms?
Yesterday morning, I had an urgency to go to the toilet and passed very soft, black mucose stools. This happened another few times during the rest of the day.
I hoped that this would have cleared today but I am still having the same symptoms as yesterday, but more like black diarrhea.
I know I should not refer to Dr Google but I am full of fear.Hoping some of you maybe able to advise.I will ring my doctors first thing Monday.
Have any of you had any similar symptoms.
Sorry to bother you.
Jacqueline
Good Morning Jen.T
I had a Colonoscopy and Upper GI Endoscopy which showed that I have both
Diverticular and Diverticulitis disease. The consultant said that he thought one of these had bled causing the black diarrhea.
I, like you, was googling for answers.
I now know there are things I had'nt even heard of that can cause symptoms of red and black blood.
I hope you are OK and will be thinking of you.
Feel free to contact me if you feel the need as I know health anxiety is dreadful.
Take Care
Jackie
Jen,
No treatment at moment. Watching what I eat and a case of monitering symptoms.
So weird how my toileting has changed all at once.
Take care, and please let me know how you get on. Our minds can play tricks on us, when we are worried.
I know mine does.
Jackie
