Hi all my husband was diagnosed with rectal cancer few months back all scans done all came back all clear apart from the liver there is a 9mm bright white spot on the liver he had a liver biopsy and pet scan we had to go and see liver surgeon today and still none the wiser hopefully results will be back tomorrow his treatment is starting next Thursday radiotherapy and chemo together hope all well just feeling a bit down at the minute love Shelly x

Sometimes it’s just all overwhelming! Hopefully we can pick you back up again . Unfortunately the liver is notorious for having non cancerous nodules that need to be checked out ! Ruled out mostly than ruling in . You will find lots of people here have had to endure this process !
However there is some positives in that it’s very small and solitary! Even if it was a tumour they would have lots of options to pull that back in . But hopefully it’s nothing of concern and he can press on with his treatment.
Where the results not available today ? It’s rotten when that happens !
